We must say: 'Yes ofcourse, but in thiscase of 'Market-Garden Memorial' ... 
... aviation is very narrow related to this huge military operation.
The droppings, airlifts, transporting equipment and all...
 
... would never have been possible without aviation as you saw on page 4 and 5 of this reportage
Happily ever after there are organisations like 'Keep 'm Rolling' and 'The Green Group' ...
.... who keep history alive by maintaining this old material so perfectly well ! 
 
It was here at this spot amongst others in the provinces of Brabant and Gelderland...
 
That heavy fighting took place and many paratroopers lost their lives before even hitting the ground.
 
These images show how tactics were discussed...
It must have been like this, but as known, operation market Garden was not quite succesfull...
 
... the English tanks who were expected in hours didn't come up in days...
.... The allies were victim of their own succes, which can be read on internet in several contributions.
