Not only commercial aviation was hinrenced by the Icelandic ashse from the vulcan...
... Two pilots of the 'Marine Luchtvaart Dienst' (Navy) were informed during their flight to emigrate to
Lelystad Airport. The Lynx was parked a few days at the Lelystad platform, to the delight of the
day trippers who don't very often see such a military helicopter so near.
So to see the Airforce Dog control didn't mind either, specially when you know the nearby restaurant !

Never the less these guys are authorised to use weapons on each one who might concider violence.
