At first sight Typhoon and SU-30 seem to be totally different. Here the Typhoon on the taxiway...
... and here in full glory in the air.
The Eurofighter (EFA 2000) is designed and built by a European consortium of several companies
The SU-30MKI is a dual-seat dual-role all weather fighter for air-air and air-surface deep interdiction missions
Both planes do differ in size and shape...
...the Indian SU-30's are manned with two pilots in contradiction to the one pilot in the Typhoon
They do seem to have a very different class.Still they'll meet eachother in the air.
A confrontation starts with one against one.
A Typhoon rides out...
...turn right to the runway...
Compare both cockpits of the single- and twin-seater Typhoon...
...and the large 'Pilots-office' of the Flanker.
...This kind of camo you don't often see...
...a treat for the eyes of the photographer.
Better view at the dual-seat Typhoon.
During the exercise also two-ship formations will 'fight' eachother...
...longer flights including air-air refuelling with the 'King Elephant' tanker...
...finally a battle of 4 against 4 is trained.
Heavily armed long distance flying Typhoon...
...carrying different kinds of GBU's.
