A new article for the independent leading Dutch aviation magazine 'Piloot en Vliegtuig'
'Piloot en Vliegtuig'reports about a rare bird in sea waters...
A short story about Malta HarbourAir
A De Havilland Canada DHC-3T Turbo Otter is landing on the water...
... in the Harbour of Malta, which is his 'natural habitat' !
Captain Barry Lightening enjoys 'his' sea plane, though he used to fly 747's.....
To be frank, such a job here makes you happy after all, doesn't it ?
The plane bumps itself into the air, and makes nice flights over the Island
It has it's own dock, private between large ships in the harbour.
A view inside the cockpit and the seats of the passengers
When you're out there, you should really enjoy a flight, it's marvellous !
A view over the characteristic houses, and in approach of the harbour again... landing smoothly.
From the terasses on the shore you can watch it for hours, with a fine drink !
many happy landings, captain Lightening and collegues !
aDutch Aviation Team enjoyed Malta for sure ! Best regards from Koos, Wim and Kees !
