FIRST SOME VIEWS ON THE PLATFORM OF PAPA AIRBASE
  
Some old Mig's and an old Hind take a 24 hrs watch over the platform. They earned their rest

STARTING NEW EXERCISES NOW: LIVE FIRING @ VARPALOTA !
Preparing for a 2,5 hours flight to the firing range
 
There will be live firing from out of this Mil-MI-17 with unguided rockets to targets on the ground
 
  
  
Arms on board, containers filled with ammo, taking position and trying to get the best score ! Air-to-ground.
 
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
 
  
  
  
  
  
  
Rocketpods seen from inside, but not yet having the experience while fired.....
  
All of a sudden a fire-flash and firm vibration through the helicopter: Rocket launched !!
  
.....and again and again and again !
  
Fired to a location where you defenitely don't want to be at that specific time.... 
  
Mission completed, back to base.  Thanks again to the Hungarian Airforce for this unique experience !
  
To be frank: A one time hell of an experience really, but mind that you eat well before departure to please your stomach because if you don't,
then it might be that you become a source of entertainment for the gunners on board with a lot more flight-hours in their.... ehm... belly :-))
