EERDE - 19 SEPTEMBER 2009
501 Parachute Infantry Regiment landed on september 17th in next to Eerde to conquer important bridges
A monument was set up to remember these heavy fights. Today 2009 many honoured the dead of that time
Behind the monument a complete military camp was set up, to provide several impressions
W
Dutch Aviation Support let's you share in these impressions, we hope you appreciate.

Everything as much as possible in '1944' , this American was the first we met, riding inro Eerde village
The lady wanted to thank her liberator, just like all these years ago, most houses honoured with flags

To the lady: Please contact us and you'll get an enlarged photo ! (contact on this site)

Just like that time the old vehicles rolled into the village, like true liberators !
Jeeps and other vehicles, brought together by several voluntary associations

Even a 'Generals Car' came by, all really in very good shape...
... too much to show it all, but do scroll down and meet the next page !
