ANA's (Afghan National Army) get trained by coalition forces until they can assist independent
 
Day by day, new material, food, and people are flown in, mostly by Hercules... 
... and very often by C-17 USAF Globemasters, they land on sandy runways sometimes !
 
Camp Holland, children get educated how to recognise landmines, and to avoid stepping on it 
 
In spite of all precautions, and holding OMF at distance, sometimes victims fall.
 
A very sad moment when you carry your mate for the last flight home. 
 
Meanwhile local trade and reconstruction goes on, we have to proceed, we have to ! 
ISAF builds, and Afghans learn about more modern ways of construction in steel and concrete
 
Chinook flies, mountains are very high, but the views are unforgettable
 
The battle against 'Red Poppy' goes on,to be destroyed for trees and Saffron
 
A meeting with the local tribe head in a village, and also one with 'Willem Alexander'.

People generally wave to Coalition forces on the roads who check their houses for Taliban...
 
... make safe their environment, and have meetings with their municipality governing boards

The Dutch prime minister speaks to the troops.
 
Many bands concider it an honour to play for the soldier in the Camps !
 
Pulling the rope, men against women. Women won !    Ever seen wooden shoes by the way ?
 
Some entertainment is neccessary: 'Sinterklaas' and 'Santa Claus' came all the way !
 
Working individual or in small or large teams: Each one has his own responsability, and...
... finally it is: 
ONE TEAM ONE MISSION !
